Recipe Ingredients for Fruit-Filled Oatmeal Bars

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup butter
10 ounces cherry pie filling

Recipe Directions for Fruit-Filled Oatmeal Bars

  1. In a medium bowl combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup of the crumb mixture.

  2. Press remaining crumb mixture into the bottom of an ungreased baking pan. Spread with Cherry Pie Filling. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top is golden. Cool and then cut into bars.
