Recipe Ingredients for Fruit Cobbler

346 g. blackberries
158 g. peaches
30 g. Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup gold medal unbleached all purpose flour
1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
24 g. sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
47 g. light butter
80 g. skim milk
1/4 teaspoon orange zest

Recipe Directions for Fruit Cobbler

  1. Preheat oven to 400.

  2. Prepare filling first. Combine fruit, 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 cup sweetener in a bowl. Spread evenly into a greased 8x8 inch dish. Let sit 10 minutes.

  3. In separate bowl, combine remaining flours, powder, soda, salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add milk and zest, and stir until just moist.

  4. Spoon batter over fruit mixture. Bake 30 minutes or until browned and bubbly.

  5. Let sit at least 10 minutes before serving.
