Heavy and sweet bread, great for breakfast. This is a recipe I got from CC. I changed and added a couple of things but want to thank jahesse for the original recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for fruit bread

1/2 cup applesauce
1 1/4 cups apple juice
1 tbsp sunflower oil
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3/4 cups oatmeal
1 tbsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp instant yeast
2 cups dried mixed fruit, chopped

Recipe Directions for fruit bread

  1. Follow directions for bread machine whole grain cycle.

  2. You can use whatever dried fruit and or nuts you want. Fresh firm fruit is ok too but remember it adds more liquid to your dough.
