Reminiscent of a cheesecake, this frozen yoghurt will take a long time to eat, and should satisfy any sweet cravings you have, this one is large, and I made mine with no ice lolly maker!!

Recipe Ingredients for Frozen Yoghurt with Cherry Centre and Biscuit Base

100 g low fat yoghurt
1 tsp cherry jam
1 digestive biscuit

Recipe Directions for Frozen Yoghurt with Cherry Centre and Biscuit Base

  1. I first got a large plastic bottle, and cut off one end. (Doesn't matter which.) Make sure the edge is smooth so you won't cut your hand. :)

  2. Spoon your 100g of yoghurt into the plastic bottle piece you have.

  3. Then you can add your cherry jam wherever you want it (I like mine in the centre, some may put it in top...some may swirl it in, or mix it in so you have a cherry yoghurt)

  4. [you can of course use other jams, fruit, fruit purees blahblahblah I just happened to have cherry jam (I'll be trying a ginger one later)]

  5. Crush your digestive biscuit and sprinkle it thinly across the yoghurts' surface, trying to ensure the biscuit is spread so thinly it is stuck to the yoghurt.

  6. Put a sticking out object of some form....a spoon, a lolly stick, whatever, into the centre of your yoghurt to work as a handle.

  7. Finally put it carefully into your freezer and keep it upright. Leaving it overnight should allow it to freeze, though it may not take as long as this.
