replace maple syrup with agave nectar

Recipe Ingredients for Frozen Fruit Treat

6 oz raspberries,frozen organic unsweetened
6 oz blueberries, frozen organic unsweetened
1/2 cup almonds, slivered
1 cup skim milk, organic (rice or soy milk is fine as well)
1/8 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp lemon juice, fresh sqeezed
1 tsp almond extract

Recipe Directions for Frozen Fruit Treat

  1. Place all Ingredients except almonds in a food processor and blend until smooth.

  2. Once completely blended, fold in almonds.

  3. Place in freezer for 30 minutes.

  4. Remove and fold to add a little air into the sherbert and place back into freezer.

  5. Freeze for 2 hours before serving! Enjoy! Makes 4 under-200-calorie desserts!
