Makes 4 servings



Use leftover meat and veggies for this dish. Rice must be cooked and cooled in refrigerator before using. Canned Chinese veggies (water chestnuts, bamboo shoots) are good in this.

Recipe Ingredients for Fried rice, quick

1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
6 oz. snow peas
3 oz. steak, sliced
1 cup rice, cooked
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Fried rice, quick

  1. Heat peanut oil in wok or large skillet.

  2. Saute onions, snow peas and mushrooms.

  3. Add steak and then rice.

  4. Cook until all is hot.

  5. Add soy sauce.

  6. Add beaten egg and stir until everything is incorporated.
