Based on Chinese fried rice found in restaurants, but made with extra vegetables and no added salt.

Recipe Ingredients for Fried Rice with Chicken and Vegetables

16 oz frozen mixed vegetables
1/4 cup jalapeno, minced
4 oz sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 eggs
2/3 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
2 cups brown rice
6 oz tomato paste
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp ginger
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tsp paprika

Recipe Directions for Fried Rice with Chicken and Vegetables

  1. cook rice according to package

  2. fry chicken until brown with the jalapeno, garlic, onion, and eggs.

  3. remove rice from bags and add back into pot.

  4. mix frozen vegetables with rice and allow to heat.

  5. mix chicken mixture with vegetable rice mixture.

  6. season accordingly.
