fried oatmeal -- analysis does not include cooking spray, margarine or syrup

Recipe Ingredients for fried oatmeal

4 c oatmeal
3 c water
1/2 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla
1/2 t cinnamon

Recipe Directions for fried oatmeal

  1. Boil water, add oatmeal and boil for about a minute.

  2. add remaining ingredients and stir.

  3. Put in bread loaf pan and chill overnight.

  4. Slice in 1/2" slices and fry in cooking spray. Add margarine and syrup to taste.
