This is a wonderful side dish and tastes good at room temp.

Recipe Ingredients for Fried Cabbage

8 cups cabbage
1 1/2 cups onion
1/2 cup celery
1/2 cup carrot
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp sesame seed oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Fried Cabbage

  1. dice the carrots, chop the onions and celery. Slice the cabbage into thin strips.

  2. Heat a wok or large frying pan. Add onions and celery and stir fry for about 3 minutes.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients. Keep the heat high.

  4. Lightly brown the edges of the cabbage.

  5. Reduce temp and cover.

  6. Stir frequenty until cabbage is tender.
