Fried Cabbage Recipe

1/2 cup servings. I use prepackaged cabbage/carrot slaw mix sometimes, to make prep easier.

Recipe Ingredients for fried cabbage

1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 cups sliced onion
6 cups shredded green cabbage
1/2 cup fat free chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1/2 tsp cardamom seeds, crushed

Recipe Directions for fried cabbage

Heat olive oil in dutch oven over medium high heat. add onion, saute 3 minutes; add cabbage saute 8 minutes or until cabbage wilts. Stir in chicken broth and spices. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes
