Healthy version of fried rice - barely fried.

Recipe Ingredients for Fried Brown Rice

2 cups brown rice
3 cups water
1 cup onions
3/4 cup broccoli
2 oz water chestnuts
1/2 cup green beans
1/2 cup red pepper
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/8 cup teriyaki sauce
4 eggs
2 cups bean sprouts
1 tsp canola oil
1/8 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Fried Brown Rice

  1. Cook brown rice in water (make in rice cooker).

  2. Pour oil in hot skillet.

  3. Toss all vegetables in skillet with a little bit of salt.

  4. Make a space in the middle of skillet and scramble the eggs.

  5. Mix eggs and vegetables.

  6. Mix brown rice into the skillet.

  7. Pour in soy sauce and teriyaki sauce and stir.
