Doesn't include 46 cals for digestives Original recipe: 200g dark chocolate 150g butter, unsalted 1/2 tbsp agave nectar 150g digestive cookies 1/2 cup pecans, chopped 1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped plus whatever else you want to throw in

Recipe Ingredients for Fridge cake with nuts and fruit

150 g dark chocolate
100 g butter, unsalted
1/2 tbsp golden syrup (or agave nectar)
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped

Recipe Directions for Fridge cake with nuts and fruit

  1. Put chocolate, butter and agave nectar in bowl over simmering water.

  2. Bash up digestive cookies. Add a couple handfuls of chopped nuts, a couple handfuls of dried fruit.

  3. Add melted chocolate mixture to the bowl and mix well.

  4. Line any tin with cling film. Put mixture in tin and pack down well. Refrigerate for 1 hour, until firm. Remove cling film and dust with cocoa powder. Slice and serve.
