I use any variety of teabags for this, but generally use two Salada black tea bags and vary the other two. In the summer, lemon, mint and fruit teas are nice. In the winter, cinnamon, honey, vanilla, spice and chai varieties are welcome!

Recipe Ingredients for Freshly Brewed Ice Tea

4 Tea bags
8 cups water
1/2 cup sugar

Recipe Directions for Freshly Brewed Ice Tea

  1. Boil water.

  2. Steep 4 teabags in 8 cups of boiling water for 6-8 hours.

  3. Remove tea bags.

  4. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar to dissolve.

  5. Store in pitcher in refrigerator.

  6. It's best to use withing 24 hours.
