A nice light tomato sauce for when the tomatoes are ripe in summer.

Recipe Ingredients for Fresh Tomato Sauce with Shrimp

1 tomato
1/4 cup onion
1/2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp basil
6 prawns
3/4 cup rotini

Recipe Directions for Fresh Tomato Sauce with Shrimp

  1. Peel & seed tomato and chop

  2. Saute onion and garlic in a no stick skillet with a little olive oil if needed

  3. Add tomato and cook until soft

  4. Add shrimp and basil and cook til done

  5. Serve over cooked pasta
