Recipe Ingredients for Fresh Pasta Sauce

2 cup, chopped or sliced Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 medium Yellow Hothouse Bell Pepper
1 cup, grated Carrots
8 oz Tomato Sauce No Salt Added
1 tsp Garlic
1 tbsp Olive Oil
4.233 oz Wine

Recipe Directions for Fresh Pasta Sauce

  1. saute onion, pepper and carrot in a pan with olive oil until slightly carmelized.

  2. Add garlic and tomatoes, stir in wine and tomato sauce.

  3. cook, covered, stirring periodically until sauce thickens, about 20-30 minutes. Add 1 tsp sugar if desired to cut acidity.
