Simple salsa for chips, or to add a little zing to salad, mexican dishes or other food

Recipe Ingredients for fresh and easy salsa

2 1/2 cups fresh tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper
1/2 cup onion
4 oz hot peppers
1 T sugar
3/4 tsp cilantro
1/2 tsp dried oregano
2 1/2 T lemon or lime juice
8 oz can tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for fresh and easy salsa

  1. Mix ingredients

  2. Add hot peppers to taste or substitute with ground cayenne pepper

  3. sit for an hour prior to serving
