A take on Alton Brown's Fresh Broccoli Salad.

Recipe Ingredients for Fresh Broccoli Salad

16 oz Broccoli
0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 lemon yields Lemon Juice
4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar, Organic
6 tsp Classic Dijon Mustard
0.5 tsp Kosher Salt
2 dash Pepper, Black
6 oz Grape Tomatoes
0.25 cup, whole Almonds

Recipe Directions for Fresh Broccoli Salad

  1. Whisk together the vinegar, zest, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper in a medium mixing bowl.

  2. While whisking constantly, gradually add the olive oil.

  3. Add the broccoli and toss to coat.

  4. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  5. Stir in the tomatoes & nuts.

  6. Cover and allow to sit, at room temperature or in the refrigerator, for another 15 minutes before serving.
