A French Onion Soup recipe without the cheese and bread. Still quite a full flavored soup. No salt is added as there is enought salt in the ingredients.

Recipe Ingredients for Frenchless Onion Soup

640 g onions
1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
4 cups beef broth
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp becel
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup white wine

Recipe Directions for Frenchless Onion Soup

  1. Slice 3 large, 4 medium, or 5 small yellow onions.

  2. Mince garlic cloves

  3. In a small stock pot, heat becel and olive oil over med-high heat.

  4. Add garlic and onlins to pot, stir frying for 5 mins over med-high heat.

  5. Reduce heat and simmer until onions are caramelized.

  6. Add broth, worchestershire sauce, white wine, and pepper.

  7. Bring to a rolling boil, then reduce heat to simmer covered for 20 mins.

  8. Note: Cheese and bread can be added if desired, but not included in the Nutrition Facts for this recipe.
