Recipe Ingredients for French Toast with Soymilk

8 egg whites or 1 cup egg beaters
1/2 cup soymilk (try Silk Light or Soy Slender Vanilla)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 slices whole grain bread
1 cup strawberries, sliced (or fresh berries)

Recipe Directions for French Toast with Soymilk

  1. In a shallow baking dish, whisk together egg whites, soymilk and cinnamon.

  2. Slice bread into halves and drop into mixture, turning over once so that both sides are soaked.

  3. Spray frying pan with cooking spray and heat over medium low heat.

  4. Place soaked bread slices into hot pan, browning on both sides.

  5. Serve with sliced strawberries over top.
