This is my favorite breakfast. I don't make it too often, but my family loves it!

Recipe Ingredients for French Toast

8 serving oroweat country buttermilk bread
3 tsp Sugars, Granulated
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract, Imitation, No Alcohol
3 large Egg, White
1/2 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat

Recipe Directions for French Toast

  1. Heat skillet over medium heat.

  2. In shallow dish or cake pan: Beat eggs and milk together.

  3. Add vanilla and sugar. Mix.

  4. Add nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix.

  5. Dip bread in mixture; turn. Cook in skillet until browned and not soggy (about 1 1/2-2 min on each side).

  6. Enjoy!

  7. Add syrup if desired. (Not included in calorie content of this recipe.)
