This is yummy and served with a generous helping of fruit salad it's healthy as well.

Recipe Ingredients for french toast

5 slices whole wheat bread
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp butter
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 tsp maple syrup

Recipe Directions for french toast

  1. beat eggs with milk cinamon and vanilla.

  2. soak bread in egg mixture and cook in a hot skillet with 1/2 tsp of the butter.

  3. repeat with remaining slices of bread.

  4. top with your favorite fruit salad.

  5. sprinkle with powdered sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup. enjoy
