Could be a lot healthier. This is what I had in the house. Egg substitutes, skim milk, and whole grain wheat bread will no doubt be better for you, and would hopefully still taste good.

Recipe Ingredients for French Toast

7 eggs, large brown
1/2 cup milk, 1%
2 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cinnamon
16 slices white bread

Recipe Directions for French Toast

  1. Beat together first 4 ingredients.

  2. Dip slices of bread into mixture (cover both sides).

  3. Place on pre-heated pan/griddle (spray with cooking spray if not a good non-stick surface).

  4. Cook 3 minutes on each side, or until solid and golden brown.
