Recipe Ingredients for French toast

2 slices bread
1/2 cup applesauce unsweetened
1/2 cup egg substitute
15 gram pecan halves

Recipe Directions for French toast

Pour egg substitute into a pie plate then dip bread 1 slice at a time. I use whole grain breads such as flax seed to make it more nutritious. Spray a non-stick skillet with cooking spray and cook each slice of bread over medium heat, flipping when one side is cooked. When both sides are cooked move to a dinner plate. Top each slice with 1/2 of the applesauce and then top each slice with the pecan halves.
