Recipe Ingredients for French Toast

1 egg
1 egg white
3/8 cup lowfat milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/8 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/4 tsp soybean oil, for frying

Recipe Directions for French Toast

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla; stir well to combine.

  2. Lightly soak bread slices in the egg mixture and the stack on plate or other dish. Divide up any remaining egg mixture by spooning over each slice and stacking the slices.
