Prepare the night before (same as Baked French Toast -- accidentally posted twice)

Recipe Ingredients for French Toast (Baked)

1/2 cup margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
12 slices bread
8 eggs
1 pinch salt
2 cups milk

Recipe Directions for French Toast (Baked)

  1. Melt margarine and put in a 9x13 pan.

  2. Add brown sugar and cinnamon and stir.

  3. Layer bread on mixture in 2 layers.

  4. Beat eggs, salt, and milk together. Pour over bread.

  5. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.

  6. The next morning, uncover and bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.

  7. Cut into squares and place upside down on plate so melted sugar/cinnamon is on top.
