Recipe Ingredients for French Onion Soup

2 onions, sliced
4 cups beef broth
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
4 slices french bread, toasted
4 slices mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for French Onion Soup

  1. In covered large saucepan coated with Pam, cook onions over low heat about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add beef broth and worcestershire sauce.

  3. Heat to boiling.

  4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes.

  5. Place 1 slice toasted bread in each of 4 soup bowls. Pour hot soup over bread and cover with 1 slice of mozzarella cheese.

  6. Place under broiler until cheese is bubbly.
