Recipe Ingredients for Freezer Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies

6 c. shortening, Crisco
6 c. sugar
3 c. light brown sugar, Imperial
12 eggs, large
6 tsp. vanilla
6 tsp. salt
6 tsp. baking powder
13 c. flour
24 oz. chocolate chip
4 c. pecans, broken

Recipe Directions for Freezer Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Cream shortening and sugars thoroughly.

  2. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.

  3. Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until well blended.

  4. Mix in chocolate chips and pecan.

  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

  6. To freeze: Roll dough into walnut size balls. Place on cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen, place in zippper bags. To bake, remove number wanted and bake as above. May be baked frozen, but increase cooking time.
