Recipe Ingredients for Free form tart

1 refrigerated pie crust
1 lb bing cherries
1 large peach, sliced
4 strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
2 T cornstarch
1 T sugar
1 egg, beaten

Recipe Directions for Free form tart

  1. Pit and half cherries. Slice peaches and strawberries. Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup of sugar, and mix into fruit.

  2. Roll out pie crust on a cookie sheet. Top with fruit mixture, leaving 2 inch border unfruited. Crimp edge toward fruit. Brush with egg and sprinkle with the remaining tablespoon of sugar.

  3. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Let cool slightly before cutting (this will allow the fruit mixture to "set").
