Recipe Ingredients for Franx spicy lentils

1 cup Lentils, Mature Seeds
1 medium Onions
2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
6 tsp Unico Sunflower Oil
6 tsp Exotic Indian Spices
1.6 grams Salt, Table
2 oz Tomato Puree
4 tsp Ginger Root
3 cup Spinach
1 oz Chilli
1 oz Chilli

Recipe Directions for Franx spicy lentils

  1. cook lentils as per pack

  2. separately fry onion garlic ginger chilli in sunflower oil.

  3. when onions start colour add garam masala, asafoetida and tom puree, mix, then add tomato. Season with a dash of salt at this point for tomato. lower heat to simmer.

  4. 5 min then add to cooked lentil.

  5. Stir well then add raw spinach to mix.

  6. Check seasoning post cooking as tomato and spinach will both need it.
