With Arab origin, this classic vegetarian dish is perfect as a spread of dip. Different variation such as garlic, roasted red pepper and eggplant give in exotic flavors.

Recipe Ingredients for Frantastic Hummus

12 1/2 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds, Canned
1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
1 tsp Cumin Seed
1 tbsp Sesame Butter, Tahini, From Roasted And Toasted Kernels (Most Common Type)
2 fl oz Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1 tsp garlic salt
50 gm Carrots

Recipe Directions for Frantastic Hummus

  1. Drain garbanzo beans. Keep the water the garbanzo beans are packed in. Finely chop cilantro. Combine garbanzo beans into food processor along with cilantro, cumin seed, tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil. Process until mixture is consistent,. Add the water the garbanzo beans were packed in: a quarter cup at a time to reach the desired consistency. Use salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Store any unused portion in the refridgerator.
