Recipe Ingredients for Fragrant oven roasted parsnips

12 oz parsnip, 2 parsnips cut in half lengthways
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon rosemary, chopped finely
2 garlic cloves, minced and pureed
1 salt and pepper, season to taste

Recipe Directions for Fragrant oven roasted parsnips

  1. Cut each parsnip in half lengthways.

  2. In a bowl that is big enough for the parsnips to lay in, add the oil, now mince the garlic by chopping it fine then add some salt to the garlic and using your knife on its side mince and puree the garlic and add to the oil, now finely chopped rosemary and add and mix ingredients together, now add the parsnips and make sure they are well coated in the mix.

  3. Place parsnips on a baking sheet and with a spoon place some more herb and oil mix on top of them, any oil that is left over just throw. To finish grind some black pepper on them.

  4. Cook in a pre heated oven gas mark 7 - 8 for 40-45 minutes or until golden and crisp.
