You can do it just stay focus... Four days without a binge thats great keep up the good work. And yea you need a scale :) lol I have two scales and I don't like them things neither....
Question to anybody that can answer: CC say I need atleast 1500 for my daily calorie intake so if thats true and I eat around 1200-1400 will that keep me from losing weight or will that just help me lose weight faster??
Well, it's update day, and I have to say I have stayed the same. I am at 215 but I want to be around 150-160. I feel like I have been working my butt off exercise wise, but I know I really need to focus on portionn size. I am going to start using my sons small Thomas the Train portioned plate for every meal!!! Anyone have suggestions or tricks for helping with portion control or any great foods that really fill you up?
how is your diet going? Didn't you start on Nutri-System? I've been debating wheather or not to try the same. I'm curious to see if it's worth it. I need some kind of help, I'm not doing well on my own.

It's update time again.
I started at 176lbs last week and this morning when I weighed myself I was at 171lbs.... that's down 5lbs. I know that some of that was bloating from PMS, but none the less I'm feeling pretty good. It's been years since I"ve seen the scale that low! It's definately motivation to keep me going.
Chobbs: keep up the exercise, a week where you held your weight steady but worked out a lot has to be good for you! I try to make sure that I weigh or measure everything so I know the number of calories. That can be a drag sometimes and it's particularly hard for something like a casserole made for the whole family -- you have to figure the total for the whole thing and then make an honest guess at what fraction of the dish you ate. But I think the secret to portion control is just having a number for the calories in the portion you eat; knowing that it erases your workout is motivation to reduce the size. It's a lot of numbers and can be a bit tedious but you get used to it.
I was reasonably good this week despite the long weekend. CW 201.5, down 1.5 from last week. I skipped one run and one trip to the gym due to laziness but still jogged 19 miles and lifted weights twice (though my weight lifting is not very efficient yet I don't think).

I'm up .8 this week. I averaged 1530 calories per day, 350 under my BMR, so I'm not going to worry about it... yet! I have 26 left to get to my first goal of 160. Then I'll maintain for a few months before moving on.
Along the vein of TMI, I've been totally constipated this week. I finally had a good BM yesterday and am hopeful the scale will go down with another couple of them.
Room for one more! My ultimate goal is to lose 30lbs….I am currently 163 and 5’5. I just started CC on Monday (for the fourth time this year!). I have been trying to lose weight since January when my daughter was 2months old. My goal is to be 130 before her 1st b-day in November. I would love the support.
bpagan809: I've been doing the Nutrisystem for a week going on two but I am down 7 pounds now. 23 more pounds to go. Maybe its working :)
I hate when that time of the month come and I get all bloated and mess I know thats gonna be a drag when that comes!!!
It probably would do good for you to try the nutrisystem since then you wont have to measure your portions, All you have to do is log it on CC whatever you eat. They have all kinds of foods. They supply you with breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, and dessert. I'm still getting use to eating these different foods. Its not all that great tasting to me but its better than taking diet pills. I only know one good diet pill that works real good but I cant afford it right now. I rather try to do it naturally though the healthier the better.

sexycoolaries-Thanks ….what’s the name of that diet pill? I am going to start Alli tomorrow. I have heard it works with a low fat diet. BUT If YOU CHEAT….its not a good thing. LOL anyway, I logged into the myalli site etc. Now I am eating the recommended 1400 calories a day with 15g of fat per meal. This is my third day…so far so good. I really want to get the weight off this time. If I stick to the low calories and exercise I know I will still lose weight even if the pill does not work.

I tried alli, you better be careful because if you eat too much fat you might.......on yourself lol and its hard to stop it when it comes ha. The one I know that takes off weight fast is phentermine but you cant just get that anywhere. Most doctors prescribe it to you but you have to have a BMR thats around 29. Yup Alli can be your friend or your destroyer lol.
Sounds like everyone's doing really well!! I weigh on Friday's, so I won't know #'s until then. I'm feeling a little bit skinnier today, does that count?? LOL

Yea everybody is different when dealing with medications. It didnt make my chest hurt. All it did was gave me more energy and took weight off me quick. Im trying the natural route now hell I cant afford them pills right now anyway lol
Hello All and welcome any newbies
The weekend is almost gone...weekends are the hardest for me, but so far so good. Saturday I was even under my calorie goal. I ran a local fundraising race with my daughter. It was great but running with a stroller is hard as heck. My time was awful. So I have some running goals to accomplish now. I weighed in and I lose 3lbs so just 15 more to go before I feel fabulous. I am already looking online for fall clothes.
