Hello all,

I know most of everyone doesnt aggree with any diet pills that are out there..but i really need to lose about 5-10 lbs fast..because i have somewhere to be by the end of november and i thought it would be nice to jump kick my weight loss.

please tell me what you all think..

i also wanted to try The hoodia diet pill or the NV beauty pill, so if anyone can shed some light on this i would highly appreciate it.

Save your money.. My wife and I tried Hoodia and it was a waste.. it did nothing.

There is no magic pill.. Weight loss is all about patience and will power. Exercise and count your calories.. (rule 1: don't go below 1200) and you'll loose 1-2 #'s a week. There are no quick fixes Jona.

Hey, I take Miracle Burn. I love it. It curbs my appetite. BUT, as the ads say, and as all testimonials say..... everything takes time. I have lost 4lbs in the first two weeks... BUT I always lose lots of weight in the first week or two of dieting, and I've been exercising every day... I expect, with diet and exercise and the miracle burn pills, I will lose approx 1-2lbs a week. I wanted to lose the thirty extra pounds I'm carrying by the first of the year - but it looks more like March-May '08. Oh well.... dates are meant to motivate, not to kill us. So, consider adjusting your date.... and feel free to use the hoodia or other appetite suppressants... just DO YOUR RESEARCH! and DON'T TOLERATE SIDE EFFECTS... they don't all have side effects that are damaging.

My recommendation is to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet of at least 1200 calories per day, and to get some exercise every day. Avoid caffeine, salt and really high sodium foods that may be making you retain water. Try to eat high-fiber foods like veggies, whole grains and fruits that will keep you "regular" .... and be sure to drink plenty of water. Spicy food is also said to boost your metabolism, so have some salsa or hot sauce on your veggies!

In my first semester of college I went from 115 lbs to 155. Being lazy, and not yet fully aware of the HORRENDOUS health history of my family I went with the "lazy" fix: I convinced my doctor to prescribe me a diet pill. He gave me Phentermine, and it worked beautifully- I lost a ton of weight, then promptly gained it all and then some back. I

spent the next 3 years using Phentermine, over-the-counter diet pills(including Hoodia, which actually made me RAVENOUS! I couldnt' stop eating!), crash diets, fasts, you name it: I tried it. 

 The only thing that has worked for me has been CC and exercise. It's certainly harder than taking a pill, but I feel better about myself than I have in years and the weight is staying off!

 whew...that's my .02 on diet pills!
