fat/carb/protein? calorie breakdown question...

hey, i'm about 5 days old on calorie-count and i have a few quick questions :)

what's the calorie breakdown SUPPOSED to look like in my daily nutrition report/analysis? what's the ratio between fat, protein, and carbs in order to have the healthiest possible diet? my overall nutrition grade is B for what i've been eating the past 5 days, but what should i eat to get it up to A, or A+?

(right now, im watching calories like a hawk, eating stuff like whole grain breads, tuna, boiled eggs, rye crackers, fresh fruit, soups, and veggies) but i cant seem to get a low ratio of fats! how much is the HEALTHY amount of fat?

I heard it's ideally supposed to be 50% Carbs, 25% fat, 25% protein. But that's not always possible, so. And don't worry too much about grades. As long as you don't get F's every day, you're fine.

As for the ratio, the typically recommended is 50% carbs / 25% protein and 25% fat.  Some go for higher protein when looking at putting on muscle and such, but the 50/25/25 is safe to aim for.

What can you eat differently, well, it depends on what you eat now.  What you listed doesn't have a very high amount of fat.  could it be that you are getting the right amount of fat but not enough carbs / protein?

bigtwinky, that's probably what im doing. i just don't know what's a good protein that isn't really high in fat!
Skim milk and cottage cheese are GREAT for low fat protein!!
