Hi everyone,

I have these dark spots on my legs made by bug bites, excema, etc. In fact, my left leg is noticeably darker than my right leg. The areas behind my knees are also dark, also made by excema.

With summer and all, I want to be able to wear shorts and skirts but my legs look so weird because of all this darkness. Its been like this for 3 years so it's not one those things that will fade over time. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this?

Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter. In about a couple of weeks and months they will fade away. Use these product daily. Go to Walgreen or Walmart to get it. And make dure you get the Real Cocoa Buttr, not the thin fake stuff. Vitamin E oil is pricey but it is excellent for taking marks away.
Really? Wow. Thank you! I'll try the stuff as soon as I can.
There is stuff that's made to lighten dark spots and brighten the complexion. I can't remember what it's called or what the brand is, but look around the drugstore and you'll find it. I've seen it advertised on t.v. a lot, usually during that show, where they take 10 years off your appearance??? It's designed to be used on the face - for people with mottled complexions or age spots. But there's no reason you can't use it on your legs.

I also like Oil of Olay Regenerist line. They have a thermal facial scrub that's awesome. You could use this to exfoliate. I think they make a version specifically for the feet too. This stuff is great - you feel like you've been to a spa.

Anything with AHA's should also increase turnover of dead skin cells. The entire Regenerist line is good for that. I don't care so much for the Regenerist moisturizer, however, because it's too heavy for my face, but I love, love love Oil of Olay Definity moisturizer!! That's another one that's intended to help improve and brigthen the complexion. It works.

I'm an esthetician, and I do know that Laser treatment and or microdermabrasion is the only best way to treat those.
Really tmg? About how much would both procedures cost?

I have done both, the spots are still there. I hate dem, they make me feel so uncomfortable. I can't wear shorts or cute dresses or skirt. I don't wanna go to the beach. I am really self conscious. I can't feel sexy. I wish they could just go. I would do anything for them to disappear. I have been miserable with them on me. I have had them eversince I was a child. can anyone help me?
