After Being Pregnant!!

Quote  |  Reply
Hi, I currently have a 3 year old and a 9 month old baby, I am finding it really hard to lose the weight that I have gain from both of them, it's not like I'm sat down all day cause I'm always doing housework non stop but was wondering if there is anyone out there that could help me and suggest something I could do even to lose the weight bit by bit as I have started to eat more healthier than before and added more exercise into my daily routine but nothing seems to be happening :/ ??xx

I can't tell you that I know how you feel because I'm a guy.  When you log your food, work on your fiber in take and keep your sodium intake low.  When I had my ankle in a cast, the doctor told me to eat as much fibers as I could.  Doing that, will help loose weight when you don't have the time to work out.  If both kids are asleep try just doing somethign at home that will help you while they're asleep.

Cheers I will try and keep an eye on my fibre then :) x

I walked absolutely everywhere, with the kids in a buggy (double buggy for one year,) - pushing a pram full of kids and shopping 2 miles up hill is an awesome workout, and gets the groceries bought at the same time!!

Yeah I'm always walking to the shops for groceries and that and as you I did have a double buggy but gone back to the single one now but the weight just isn't wanting to go anywhere at the moment x

i hav a 3 and a half year old and a 7 month old and i am in the same boat! somehow i cant seem to get past 150lb im stuck here or above and its so frustrating sometime. i would just keep trying and wait a little the weight takes a while to come off after a baby so dont stress we can do it! (i like to do zumba btw)

Becky - count count count calories.  That was the key to my success the first round.  I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 month old ... I gained 60 lbs with this past pregnancy with 20 lbs to go to pre pregnancy weight ... I have been counting calories ... little by little it is whittling away.  Keep your chin up, if you will it, it will happen.  :)

Yeah I am around 160lbs and every so often it goes either abit over or under and just keeps going from that to the other it's frustrating especially when I think I'm getting somewhere, and yeah just started counting calories now which in all honestly my first day I tracked it on this I pigged out a little and went over what I have been required to have in a day but I guess it's just watching what you eat and how many calories are in them, and do you do Zumba at home or??xx

i do zumba at home :) so i can just stay with the kids and do it.
