How many calories to maintain?

Hello there! I'm looking to find the number of calories needed to maintain my weight. I'm aware of BMR calculators and how to multiply it depending on activity levels. However, this doesn't seem to work for me. I have growth hormone deficiency and hypothyroidism, which I believe are contributing factors. I'm male, 20 years old, 5'8, 140 lbs. Any ideas?

I'd suggest starting with what the calculators say then applying some trial and error. If you gain on that number after a week - better two weeks, then decrease slowly, like 100-150 calories/day - again for two weeks at a time. If you lose, add 100-150 calories/day and see what happens.

eta: I read your profile and have zero experience with what you're going through. I think you should ask a doctor!
