Getting back to the gym after 2 weeks off

So I had a LEEP procedure 2 Mondays ago and wasn't allowed to do anything remotely strenuous or lift over 10lbs for 2 weeks!

What a killer. I was on a great roll of 5 weeks straight being at the gym 4 days a week.

Anyways, I didnt eat too great over the past two weeks (didnt feel good after the LEEP for a few days) and have only been going on long walks (which are nice) for 45min-1 hr (3 times a week)

I feel like ive gained a few lbs (even though my clothes fit fine) its probably mental but I thats how i feel.

going back to the gym tonight. doing the 20 min weight circuit (as heavy as i can go with good form) then going to do a 30 min program on the treadmill. i walk for 5 mins then start intervals 1 min 7.0mph 1 min 3.4mph and will do that for like 10 minutes, then a 5 min cooldown

should be good to get bad. need to sweat!

No, you haven't gained a few pounds.

By the way, both research and my own experience tells me that an occasional one or two week break from exercise, or at least from vigorous exercise, is usually a good thing.
