I want to stop taking iron supplements because I don't believe that I need them anymore. I am basically a vegetarian but am getting enough iron. I started taking supplements about a year ago and did not gain weight. My question is, will I gain when I stop taking them? I'm just paranoid.
I have been on iron supplements multiple times and have never experienced weight gain when discontinuing them.
It might be a good idea to get bloodwork done to check your iron levels periodically just to make sure things stay normal.
