Are like healthy choice microwave meals good for you? or are they still pretty bad even if they have a pretty controlled salt, fat intake? and have a decent ratio of protein/carbs?
just wondered as mum brought home some from sainsburys (be good to yourself) and some do look pretty nice?
They're better for you than some things, and not as good for you as other things
I eat Amy's microwave burritos, sandwich pockets and their individual size pizzas all the time! My only issue is that they have a ton of sodium... usually between 400 and 500 milligrams per meal. I like them because they're easy, tasty, and typically pretty healthy as well. Though it's ALWAYS better to just make your own version from scratch.
To be honest, there is no such thing as a healthy pre-packaged microwave meal. Unless of course you get frozen vegetables/fruit, but that's different.
