how long can raw pork chops stay fresh in the fridge?

I thawed some thin-sliced pork loin on thursday. It is now Monday and I was wondering if they're still fresh? I usually don't let meat sit in the fridge for more than a couple of days.

What's the rule for pork?

Just eat them by the sell by date (or freeze them).

Depends on how fat the meat is ( the fatter the quicker it becomes bad). Usually when I have some doubts about the meats in my fridge I feed a piece to my cat. If he buries it it's bad all right. 
Fresh meat usually only lasts 2 or 3 days in the fridge.  However, use your nose and eyes.  If the pork looks a good colour and smells fresh then it's safe to cook.  If it looks dull/grey and smells 'off' then throw it away.  For the future, unless you're planning to eat fresh meat the same or next day, wrap it up and put it in the freezer.  Saves a lot of waste.

Fresh pork only lasts two or three days, as GI Jane said. However, you said that you thawed it on Thursday? If you bought it fresh, froze it, and then thawed it, you've already used up some of its two or three days of freshness before you froze it. Really, you should always eat meat within a day of defrosting it.
