Just steam it.

I love edamame in this salad. Sometimes I cut back on the pasta and add more vegetables, like sweet peppers, pea pods and zucchini. I tried it once with barley instead of pasta and it was good too, but I liked that version better warm.

Pasta Salad with Edamame
8 oz. cavatappi (or other pasta)
1 1/2 cups shelled edamame
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. chopped green onion
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon zest
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
2 oz. crumbled feta
salt & pepper, to taste

Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
In medium bowl, combine edamame, parsley, olive oil, green onion, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Add pasta and toss. Gentle fold in tomatoes and feta; season with salt and pepper.
