I know that one shouldn't eat six eggs per day but anyone hear of egg whites being a no-no?

But I have to admit eating six of them at breakfast is a bit gaggy at times and I just wondered if anyone has heard anything negative about eating that many. I don't eat them every day but wondered if it were a bad idea if I did. Sounds like it's okay to do so.

yes, when you eat more proteins you should drink plenty of water, when you consume too much egg whites your body heat will rise up, to keep it cool you eat cucumber. thats it
The most common downside of eating too many egg-whites is that they can be 'binding' i.e. cause constipation and sulphur gas. But there's a big downside to throwing away all those lovely yolks. They do contain fat and some cholesterol but they also contain a valuable antioxidant called 'lecithin' plus most of the iron and other vitamins in an egg. If instead of a 6 egg-white omelette you had a 2-egg regular omelette you'd be getting a broader range of nutrition for a similar number of calories.
There's no limit on the number of whole eggs eaten in a week unless told otherwise by a doctor.
There's no reason why you can't eat all the eggs you want every day, for most people. Eating eggs doesn't raise your cholesterol. I asked two nutritionists and a doctor because my mom keeps telling me that I can't eat more than three eggs a day, and they said basically what gi-jane said - there is no limit unless your doctor says otherwise.
I have five egg whites for breakfast when I have time to cook, ain't nothin wrong with it at all. Its yummy and it's good for you!
Eating that many egg whites isn't bad for you at all, really. But maybe you should include just one whole egg, as the yolk's the most nutritious part with most of the protein and zinc. And don't worry about the dietary cholesteral or saturated fat, as it actually won't affect your health very much(our ancestors have been thriving on eggs for centuries xD), and just eating 1 yolk definitely won't do any damage. I used to actually be afraid of eating the yolk, but once I started including just 1 in my omelettes, I feel so much more awake and satisfied in the morning(not to mention, it makes the eggs cook easier!)
