But does anyone know if craving bread means I am lacking carbs or something or is it just a craving?
I've been having the same cravings all week too!! All I know is that I want chewy, fully cooked, almost crusty, bread. I think this means that since I haven't had any lately I just want it. Idk I think I want to bake tomorrow after school
There are lots of good things going on in wholemeal bread..... energy, B vitamins, fibre, some iron.... plus it tastes lovely. If you're happy with a smaller amount I think you've overcome the 'can't stop eating it' problem.

It sounds to me like it might be a trigger food - one that if you taste it, you just want more and more. I solved this one by switching from regular bread to mini whole wheat pitas. I keep them in the freezer, so getting one takes some effort. If I have bread in the house I just know I'll eat one piece after another until it's all gone.
you say don't buy them but I live with my family and my parents do most of the shopping. They have to buy bread and cook rice for dinner. My brothers are 21 and 14. Both eat a lot. :( and never put on an ounce!
As soon as I get motivated I see all the food. But today I managed to stay away from a lot by saying to myself: It'll still be here when I'm a reasonable size! But I couln't not eat the bread and butter! My stomach actually hurt I wanted it so bad.

Even at the minimum intake of 1200 calories a day, the recommendation from the food pyramid is at least 4 servings of grains a day - that might be why you are craving it. Once a day is not enough. I used to live by the low carb rule, until I joined CC and used the food pyramid. I had to get used to including grain servings in my diet - that's how badly I had lowered my carbs. I not only lost weight, but I enjoyed my food- finally! You will be able to control your bread "craving" once you start letting yourself actually eat some - even easier if it's healthy bread like whole grain or whole wheat.
