I walk about 3 ish miles daily to and from school so I can't cut that out, but I heard to lose muscle you need to be practically sedentary?
I know muscle is weight so if I lost it I would weigh less, but my bf% is still quite low because of it do I'd like to lose some to get that up :)
I heard eating minimal protein helps, but will I have to lower my calories?
Sorry for that long post, it's just irritating as I'm still a UK 6 at my waist but they're too tight on my legs, and anything bigger Is too big for my waist!!
Anyone have any advice?
You are at bmi 19 and anerexic you shoudl not be losing weight
It sounds like you need to gain fat, not lose muscle. Your BMI is only at 19, so you could definitely stand to gain more weight.
Different pants have different cuts - some will be too tight on your legs and fit your waist, others will fit all parts. So I suggest finding other pants that fit you better, instead of trying to lose muscle.
Bad idea. Think about what you are really saying for a minute and maybe you will realize what a horrible idea this is. You need as much muscle as you can get.
Helenax, re-read what you just wrote.
This is not what they mean by "gain 6 lbs of fat". You are trying to reach the bf% benchmark they've set without gaining weight. That isn't the goal.
The goal is to gain some more fat, and therefore weight. Don't cheat - you are only cheating yourself.
She's recovering from an eating disorder. Please don't make her feel bad about this.
Starhero - sorry but will you stop going on about why would I want more body fat. Im recovering from ANOREXIA! Its not nessecarily I want more body fat, as well as I NEED more bod fat to be HEALTHY. And also surely it's good that I'm not fearing more body fat? Most people think its better to have the barest minimum fat as that's what we've all been scared into thinking is right, when actually an amount of fat that's borderline healthy or under healthy will have affects later on.
I need a MUNIMUM % of 20 ish.

I understand your thought process, but I really do think that this is coming from your ED, not from your rational side.
Losing muscle won't automatically make your body fat go up, and while at this point, it really is important for you to gain fat, muscle is also a healthy thing for you to have.
You are worrying about size and how you'll fit into pants. That's not the thing you need to be worrying about.
Your team wants you to gain 6lbs of fat. You can do this.
< Not atall! :) as I said I thought you'd just ignored that part. Thanks for trying to help btw, I guess it's not gonna happen though. Maybe my weight will shift around once Ive kept it stable a while. Perhaps after a few months or so. Then maybe I'll reassess the situation. Thanks again :)
