Adpated from my mother's banana bread, moist and flavorful due to the butter and brown sugar.

Recipe Ingredients for Flinn's Banana Bread

3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Sugars, Granulated
1/2 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 large Egg, Whole
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Cream, Sour, Cultured
1 stick Butter
3 1/2 oz Walnut Halves

Recipe Directions for Flinn's Banana Bread

  1. Set out eggs and butter to reach room temp.

  2. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  3. Grease a non-stick or glass loaf pan with the butter wrapper, add a bit more butter if necessary, don't skimp.

  4. Mix dry ingredients.

  5. Cream butter and sugars, add eggs one at a time and beat until light in color.

  6. Add mashed bananas, sour cream, lemon juice, and vanilla.

  7. Add dry ingredients.

  11. Cut with a bread knife. After a couple days, it toasts up great.
