Recipe Ingredients for Flax Seed Banana Bread

1 1/4 cup flour
3/4 cup ground flax seed
2/3 cup white sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup canola oil
1 cup banana
1/2 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Flax Seed Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F

  2. In a large bowl, mix flower, flax, sugar, baking powder, and salt together

  3. In a food processor or bowl, mash bananas

  4. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla and mix well

  5. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until moistened

  6. Coat 8 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch loaf pan with non-stick spray

  7. Pour batter in loaf pan. Bake for 50-55 minutes until dark brown, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan on a rack for at least 10-15 minutes before unmolding to cool completely on the rack
