Recipe Ingredients for Flax and Oat-Bran Protein Crackers

16 tbsp Flaxseed Meal
3 tablespoons Natural Unflavored Protein Powder
1 cup Oat Bran
1 tsp or 1 packet Mustard, Prepared, Yellow
1 large Egg, Whole
0.3 tbsp Coconut Oil, Unrefined, Organic

Recipe Directions for Flax and Oat-Bran Protein Crackers

  1. 1) Preheat oven to 350F

  2. 2) Combine flax, oat bran, soy protein, mustard, egg and 1/4 cup of water in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Let stand.

  3. 3) With a small amount of coconut oil, lightly grease a seasoned cast-iron pan or metal baking sheet

  4. 4) The dough should now be thick and mucusy. If it is too runny, add more oat bran. If too thin, add more water.

  5. 5) Shape crackers into anything you'd like. This should make enough for approximately 16 crackers 0.5cm thick.

  6. 6) Bake for roughly 20-30 minutes.
