This is an adaptation from a similar recipe on about.com. The original used 5 eggs, beaten. UNTRIED RECIPE (I'll make it soon, though) I substituted 5 egg whites for 3 of the eggs, and beat the whites and fold in for additional fluffiness. I also decreased the oil to 1/4 c and increased the water to 2/3 c. since the flax has a lot of fat as well. Full of healthy fats. Non-gebrokts.

Recipe Ingredients for Flax Bread (UNTRIED)

1/4 cup grapeseed oil
2/3 cup of water

  3. Fold in beaten egg whites.

  4. Let set for about 5 minutes to thicken a bit.

  5. Spread on non-stick surface

  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes on a non-stick surface.
