Makes 8 servings



Delicious flatbread. Great for making pizzas or wrapping some chicken and cheese in. 4 points/flatbread

Recipe Ingredients for Flatbread

3 c all purpose flour
1 1/4 c water
1/2 c mashed potato flakes
1 1/4 t salt
2 T olive oil
1 t yeast

Recipe Directions for Flatbread

  1. Boil the water.

  2. Place 2/3 of the flour in heat-resistant bowl

  3. Pour boiling water over flour and mix until forms a paste.

  4. Let rest until room temperature (.5-1 hour)

  5. Add remaining ingredients.

  6. Mix until forms a slightly tacky dough ball.

  7. Knead for several minutes.

  8. Let rise for 1 hour.

  9. Divide into 8 pieces, form pieces into rough balls

  10. Let rest 15 minutes

  11. Heat skillet to medium heat

  12. Roll dough balls flat with rolling pin

  13. Dry fry (without oil) for about 1 minute each side or until puffed with brown spots

  14. Cool on wire rack, stacked

  15. Enjoy immediately or cool slightly before storing in plastic bag
